Born on October 22, 1962. In 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Physics at Tbilisi State University.

From 1984 to 1987, he worked at the Research Institute of Construction Materials.

From 1987 to 1990, he worked at the High Energy Physics Laboratory of Tbilisi State University.

From 1990 to 1993, he worked at the Physics Laboratory of the Georgian Technical University.

From 1993 to 1995, he worked at the private construction materials enterprise GRB.

In 1995, he received the Karl Duisberg scholarship and went to Germany to continue his studies.

In 1996, he started working in Germany at Knauf.

From 1996 to 1998, he worked in Kyiv at Knauf as Sales and Marketing Manager.

Since 1998, he has been working at Knauf Gypsum Tbilisi.
